I’d guess it’ll land closer to 70k. A well-optioned Premier (did they get rid of LTZ?) easily crests 70 grand.

Here we go again, they did this before with the 6.2 and 6L80e in 2010 (I think).
“Oh, you want a bigger engine and better transmission for your Tahoe? Well here you go! What? No, you can’t have the Towing or Off-Road package with the bigger engine, that would be ridiculous! Next you’re gonna tell me you want a Duramax in the 2500 Suburban!! Ha!”

... I mean obviously aside from whoever took that promo shot. But even my Civic can handle that kind of “off roading.”

Considering the absolute cheapest no option 2wd cloth seat Tahoe you can get stickers for $48,500, I’d be shocked if you could get this for under $65k ... and not at all shocked if it was $80k.

But, the Suburban is the one that needs the extra beef.
Also, too bad these are so expensive. I’d easily trade in my minivan for a Suburban, especially one with the 6.2 V8.

My only issue with the current Suburbans is the headlights. I really like how the whole truck looks, except for those bizarre headlights.

True, though for the same price as the Chevy I’d go for a Land Cruiser, X5, XC90 etc.
But as far as Tahoes go, this dechromed one with the V8 seems pretty sweet. Not my thing, but I see why you like it.

Chevy has always done such a nice job on their SUVs again and again. Especially the last 2 gens and even some of the later GMT800 have aged so well.

It will get stuck in the deep snow here and I will drive by and laugh....whats the point of these things? Put a plow in the front and maybe it’s useful.
